Web design & build for small businesses
We design, build and look after websites for independent businesses. Live in about a week, not months — and built to turn a search into a booking.
The usual story
Most owners who call us don't need a bigger website. They need one that works.
Looks fine on your laptop. Most of your customers never see that version.
You pay for it every month. It doesn't show up when someone nearby searches.
New opening hours shouldn't mean emailing a developer and waiting.
Nothing tracked, nothing measured. No way to know if it's ever paid for itself.
What we do
We do a narrow set of work. It's why we're quick, and why the quote is the invoice.
Built around the two or three decisions a customer makes before they call you.
We keep what's working, rebuild what isn't, and don't lose your rankings doing it.
The groundwork that decides whether you appear when someone nearby searches.
Hosting, updates, backups and small changes, for one monthly number. Terms set out in full before you sign up to anything.
How it works
No mystery, no month-long silences.
Day 1
Four minutes on the form below. Enough for us to give a real answer, not 'it depends'.
Day 2
Forty-five minutes working out what your customers need to see. Fixed written quote the same day.
Days 3–6
A live preview link from the first morning. Two rounds of changes included, not billed as extras.
Day 7+
We launch, set up tracking, and show you how to make your own edits.
Pricing, honestly
A café's site and a two-site dental group aren't the same job. What we can promise is how the number is reached.
One number, agreed in writing after the call. It only moves if you ask for something new — and we tell you before, not after.
Whoever replies to your brief is the person who designs it, builds it and launches it. No handovers, no account managers, no ticket queue.
Domain, hosting, code, analytics — who holds what is agreed in writing before we start, along with what happens if you ever want to move on.
Most projects land somewhere between a decent second-hand van and a small delivery vehicle. The brief tells us which end you're at.
Questions
It depends on scope and how much content already exists — the answer nobody wants. So: the brief takes four minutes and gets you a real range before any call. If we're out of your budget, we'll say so in that first reply.
About a week from the strategy call to launch. What slows a build down isn't us — it's waiting on photos and content. If those are ready when we start, a week is comfortable. If they aren't, that's the part that adds time, and we'll tell you so up front.
No. Copywriting is included in every build. We interview you for about an hour, write the site, and you edit anything that doesn't sound like you.
Usually not. If the bones are sound we'll redesign rather than rebuild — quicker and cheaper. We map every existing URL across so your rankings survive the move.
Yes, through a care plan: hosting, SSL, backups, updates and small edits. Before you sign up we'll set out exactly what the plan covers, what's registered where, and the notice period — so there's nothing to discover later.
We set up tracking so you can see calls and forms attributed to the site, and send a plain-English report each month. What happens after launch — an ongoing care plan, or handing things over — is agreed at the start, not sprung on you at the end.
Start here
